Dave Nicklaus joined Healthpilot in April of 2021 and has worked in the Medicare insurance industry for over 15 years. Dave was one of the early innovators shifting the distribution of Medicare insurance products from in-home sales to telephonic customer engagement as an executive at UnitedHealthcare. Over an eleven-year period, Dave built UHC’s telephonic Medicare sales team into the industry leader, pioneering the use of innovative customer engagement, workforce management and analytics-intensive processes. In 2017, Dave joined eHealth as the SVP of Sales and Sales Operations where he was instrumental in turning around and rapidly growing the Medicare sales organization, seeing revenue grow by over 3x during his tenure.
Dave is singularly focused and passionate about the Consumer’s experience in the Medicare shopping, enrollment and post-enrollment process. Simplifying and lifting the burden of complexity and vast choice in the Medicare insurance market for every individual Consumer to get each of them enrolled in the right plan is Dave’s vision for Healthpilot.
